Let's Talk!

Pharmacy Design Agency in New York

Medly Pharmacy Modern Interior Design: green walls and metal corrugated wall. Pills patterned cement floor and strong shadows
Sergio Mannino Studio designs pharmacies where branding and interiors are developed as one entity, because in a pharmacy, the two cannot be separated.
From the storefront to the consultation room, from signage to shelving, every physical detail helps define how customers understand and trust the pharmacy.

Most Pharmacy Brands Stop at the Logo

The name gets applied to the window, the bags, and the website. Then the interior becomes a purchasing decision: standard shelving, standard counters, and the same contractor-driven solutions seen in countless other pharmacies.

Customers feel this immediately. They may not name it, but they read the space. They know whether a pharmacy was designed or assembled. And they decide, in the first few seconds, whether they trust it.

Integrated Pharmacy Design Services

Pharmacy Branding

Pharmacy Branding and Identity

Positioning, visual language, signage, environmental graphics, tone, and the translation of the brand into the physical pharmacy. We build identities that hold up at every scale, from the storefront to the label on the prescription bag.

Pharmacy Interior Design

Materials, lighting, color, shelving, counters, fixtures, waiting areas, and consultation zones. The atmosphere customers experience inside the space is where brand perception is either confirmed or lost.

Fixtures, Displays, and Millwork

Prescription counters, product shelving, wellness displays, consultation areas, branded fixtures, and custom millwork. Every built element is an opportunity to make the brand tangible.

Security and Compliance Coordination

Controlled-substance areas, privacy zones, back-of-house needs, local code coordination, and collaboration with architects, consultants, and contractors. We work within the regulatory framework without letting it flatten the design.

Who We Work With

Independent pharmacies opening a first location. Regional chains standardizing across multiple stores. Wellness and healthcare retailers entering physical retail. Pharmacy brands that have outgrown their current space and need the environment to catch up with where the business is going.
We work across the United States and internationally, and take on projects at every stage, from concept through construction.

How a Project Starts

Most projects begin with a conversation about the brand: what it stands for, who it serves, what the space currently communicates, and where the gap is. From there we define scope, whether that's a full branding and design engagement or a focused intervention on one part of the experience.
We work with your existing team, including architects, contractors, and consultants, or assemble the right collaborators for the project.

F.A.Q.

Do you also work in branding, or just the interiors?

We see every pharmacy as an extension of its brand. Our approach to architectural branding ensures the space communicates the values and identity of the business. If you already have a strong brand, we translate it into the physical environment with clarity and impact. If you’re starting fresh, we can build the brand from the ground up — from naming and visual identity to the way it’s expressed in the space.

Do you work internationally?

Yes, absolutely. We’ve designed pharmacies and health retail spaces around the world, always teaming up with trusted local architects and contractors to make sure everything runs smoothly and meets regional requirements.

What project sizes do you take on?

We work on everything from single pharmacies and refreshes to large multi-location rollouts and flagship destinations.

What’s included in your scope?

Our scope typically covers concept design, space planning and circulation, fixture systems, brand development or brand integration, finishes, lighting, and detailed drawings. We develop these together with local partners so everything is tailored to your project and location.

How long does a typical project take?

Timelines vary depending on project scale and fabrication needs. A typical project ranges from 10 to 40 weeks, though each one has its own set of challenges and timing.

Do you handle controlled-substance and security requirements?

Yes, we do. We design with DEA-regulated areas, inventory security, and consultation rooms in mind, and we coordinate with local architects to ensure compliance with state pharmacy board rules and building codes. In the U.S., we’re already familiar with the requirements, and internationally, we work with local experts to adapt seamlessly.
