The same patterns later found their way into a different material entirely. The plank drawings became rugs: the Wood Planks Pink carries the same grain and rhythm as the horizontal panels, and the Secret Gardens pieces, Rose Realm and Sapphire Streams, use the plank structure as a foundation with foliage and water tones layered over it.

The brick drawings did the same. The Hollow Brick Wall rugs, in gray and pink, dusty blue, butter yellow, and red and rose, are the same walls translated into wool and silk, hand-knotted in Nepal.

The terrazzo became the Mediterraneo collection: same organic dot clusters, same depth, in beige, mauve, light blue, and Ravenna.
