Blossom, Tall Blue Storage Cabinet

Limited Edition Cabinets by Sergio Mannino Blossom is a sculptural homage to the golden age of postwar Italian design, where craft, experimentation, and material poetry converged. Echoing the spirit of Gio Ponti, Osvaldo Borsani, Ico Parisi, and Lucio Fontana, this collection reinterprets mid-century modernism through a contemporary, personal lens.

Comprising two cabinet forms—a tall, single-door piece and a broader, double-door version—each work features a matte blue wood exterior and hand-sculpted ceramic elements, glazed in luminous white. These ceramics, shaped one by one without molds, embody the expressive spontaneity of Fontana’s pierced surfaces and the formal elegance of Ponti’s domestic furniture.

The interiors are finished with white lacquered shelving. Every cabinet is crafted entirely by hand, using no CNC or laser machinery. Minor imperfections are preserved as intentional gestures—marks of the maker and echoes of the past. Blossom is a continuation of its dialogue, offering collectors a rare piece where memory, form, and material converge.
