Like all the rugs in this collection, Canopy Drift was drawn entirely by hand. The same process as the other runners in this series, individually sketched leaves accumulated into a long, uniform pattern. The same logic of walking through a garden, one leaf after another.
But this is a different garden. The palette shifts toward olive and brown, darker and more settled, the kind of light you get in autumn when the green is leaving. The leaves feel heavier here, closer to the ground. Same world as Jungle Scatter, different season.

Sergio's way of sketching is visible in every stroke, individually drawn leaves accumulated into a long, uniform pattern. The repetition is the point. One leaf after another, until the surface becomes something you can lose yourself in.
